permasolvent ® primus produces a modified crystallisation behaviour of hardness-building substances. The natural quality of drinking water remains here constant, as well as its lime content, but it no longer leaves lime deposites
on the inner surface of the valuable domestic installation.
permasolvent ® primus also reliably protects electrically heated tanks and other sensitive heating elements against lime deposits, and is moreover characterized by a small energy consumption. Already where the water is moderately hard (>12° dH) its use is absolutely recommended with solar installations. Indeed only 3 mm thick lime deposits on heating elements produce an energy transfer loss of ca. 20 %.

The "Quadrupole" technique of permasolvent ® primus works in the following manner:
Part of the lime which is dissolved in the water is transformed, through the "Nano-crystallisation" process, into freely mobile crystallization centers. Water flows through a working unit with microelectrodes, which are polarized by voltage impulses. Lime coats the negatively charged particles and is again dissolved in the form of very small nanocrystals by periodical polarity reversals. Instead of yielding deposits onto pipes, fittings or boilers, lime which crystallizes when heating adheres to the crystallization centers and is washed out of the water. Thus the natural lime content of the water remains constant.
