Indeed the combination of vortex motion and the principle or permanent magnetic action supports the building of an homogeneous anti-corrosion coat on the inner walls of copper and galvanized steel pipes. This mode of operation offers many benefits: the water flows here through a magnetic alternating field which is produced by the ring-shaped permanent magnets with alternating polarity. With corresponding focusing, optimal field gradients are obtained in the water. Additionally, within the apparatus the flow velocity in increased.

Thanks to its particular mode of operation, the devices work without circulating current and wholly unattended.
